I bought this for my stepdaughter who had just gotten saved. What a wonderful book that has been instrumental in pulling down some strongholds that were formed in her life early. I would highly recommend this for all young girls, because our adversary is actively seeking whom he can devour and the world is selling lies that cause such damage early in life, it can devastate our next generation causing them to be paralyzed with fear and bondage. Wonderful resource!

AN EXCELLENT BOOK! I would recommend reading it with your daughter and discussing the content together. I chose to take 12 teenage girls through the study. They all loved it, and are on fire for Christ as they have learned to approach the "Lies" in our culture with sound Biblical truth. I have watched this group of young ladies (15-18 year olds) living out the truth that they discovered in the study. They are claiming the Lord's promises through the circumstances of life. It has been the greatest blessing. We took a year to read and discuss the book. (WARNING....if you are looking for a feel good book full of fluff don't read this one) There is a lot of "meat" in it. IT IS THE BEST BOOK FOR TEEN GIRLS OUT THERE. Thank you to Nancy DeMoss for making this available to moms and teenagers. PS. I went through the Lies Women Believe (adult version) and it was life-changing. God is awesome!!!

I want to write a response to "Wendy Loss". 1. This is a great book and I recommend it.
2. It is not a good idea to date or marry someone of a different religion. It will just pull you down and create problems for you in the future.

This book is a terrible message for young women. All of these reviews are from parents. They have NO idea what the girls think. Maybe they should actually ask what the teens think before they go and recommend this book. For a modern-thinking young woman of today, this book is very backward and limiting.
Also: This book says to not date or marry anyone of a different religion.

I have not actually read this book; however, I am a youth pastor and came to this site to review the content of this book for a girl's bible study that is going on with the girls in my youth group. I was encouraged by the chapter titles and especially by the negative reviews on this site. It shows me that this book truly does deal with real lies that people honestly believe. Had all the reviews been positive, I would have been very skeptical! Thanks for the somewhat backwards encouragement!
