But then the painful break-up of her friends' marriage causes Christy to pull back and seriously evaluate her deepening relationship with Todd. Above all, she wants to be clear on what God wants her to do with her future before she makes a lifelong commitment to anyone.
Naturally, everyone has advice for Christy's life, including Sierra, Uncle Bob, and even her younger brother. The most helpful guidance, however, comes from a surprising source. Will Christy and Todd at last become engaged? Does life ever turn out as we wish it would?
Christy and Todd: The College Years series provides deeper, more mature story lines that follow Christy into decisions about life and love. Each story will offer a thought-provoking and inspiring model of Christian courtship and romance.

Curious as to what could keep these girls away from the sun, surf and guys, Robin borrowed three of their books. As she read them, her heart broke. They were not the kinds of stories these girls should be reading! After the camping trip Robin went to her Bible bookstore and bought every book she could find that she thought would be interesting for the girls and have a good influence on them. The teens read all the books in a week and asked for more. "There aren't any more," Robin told them. "That was all I could find." The teens challenged Robin by saying, "Then you write some for us. We'll even tell you what to write!"
She has now written over 50 books, including THE CHRISTY MILLER SERIES, which has sold more than one million copies. A storyteller at heart, she is also a popular speaker and an active youth worker. Robin lives with her family in Oregon.

Kirsty Pearce5 Stars Out Of 5April 7, 2007Kirsty PearceThis book is the best one in the College Years so far. I've read all the Christy Miller Books, and I only wish that Todd and Christy were real. Todd is the most romantic guy I have ever read about. He also has a lot of Random-Factor. I absolutely LOVE the way he proposed to Christy. She is the luckest girl in the world to have a guy like Todd and a best friend like Katie. I just wish that RJG would write about their married life. I really want to know about when Christy gives Todd the Shoe Box. But keep up the good work RJG. Your books RULE!

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: From Robin to all you "God lovers" who have grown up with Christy and the gang, Wow! I just read some of your comments and all I can say is Wow! God is doing His God things with these stories and I'm continually amazed. It is so awesome (as Doug would say) to hear your comments. I'm finishing book #3 in this series right now and yes, "I Promise" is due for a summer 2001 release. I started writing these stories 15 years ago. Some of you have said that you've grown up with Christy. I guess I have, too. I've been crying all the way through this final book because I don't think I know how to say good bye. My daughter, Rachel is 14. More than any other teenage girl on the planet, my Rachel has certainly grown up with Christy and the gang. Rachel came up with the idea of how Todd should propose to Christy. She also gave me a lot of great ideas for "I Promise". Now she's thinking up ways that Todd and Christy can end up in Glenbrooke. The Glenbrooke Series is published by Multnomah and I have a few more books to write in that series. There are currently seven Glenbrooke titles. You might like to read Sunsets if you ever wondered what happened to Alissa after she gave her baby up for adoption. Whispers is about Teri Moreno. Remember in "Surprise Endings" when Christy met Teri while trying out for cheerleading? Well, Teri is now a Spanish teacher in Glenbrooke and I wrote about her love story in Whispers. See what I mean about having a hard time saying goodbye to these characters? I start thinking about them and wondering what happened to them and poof! Another story starts running around in my imagination. I better get back to finishing "I Promise". Your words have brightened my day, dear readers. I will forever hold you in my heart. Robin
