Skip it I bought this and several other writing tree workbooks because I thought they would be useful in encouraging my reluctant writer. When they arrived, they included very little in the way of explaining what to do and what instructions there were implied that you needed every other implement that Gallopade (Writing Tree's Publisher) makes. I contacted the publisher (Gallopade) directly with my questions and they categorically refused to speak to me because I am not a licensed teacher. I returned everything to CBD and purchased the Jump In set from CBD instead and am loving it. CBD was great about refunding my money. January 10, 2013

When ordering this I thought this was more of a curriculum than a booklet. I didn't pay attention to how many pages were in the book. It is 36 pages and it is really for more elementary levels in my opinion. It is a very simple approach to writing essays (very short ones) but it has a fun outlook on it and I could see it being prefect for the younger student. We were hoping it would work for a middle schooler but I think I will return this and try again for something on essay writing. August 17, 2010
