Ride into the Rockies where love peaks between a tough Texas tomboy and a passionate artist. On her way to Montana, Sally McClellan’s party is attacked and robbed. But then artist Logan McKenzie saves the badly wounded cowgirl who has been left for dead. Can this landscape painter tame the tomboy without breaking her spirit? Sally doesn’t know much about ribbons and lace, but Logan’s presence makes her want to connect with her feminine side. Will this fractured female discover a way to capture the artist’s love—or find herself captured and killed by outlaws?
wfnrenSt Cloud, FLAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Yet another book I didn't want to put down!April 22, 2014wfnrenSt Cloud, FLAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Another great book by Mary, another book I didn't want to put down. I like the way she seems to make you feel you are right there in the action and believe me with these McClellan women there is action in what they do. If you haven't read any of her books you need to. Start with the Lassoed in Texas series, go on to the Montana Marriages series and end up with the Sophies's Daughers series. I have one book left in this series and then I don't know what I'll do!
C1 Stars Out Of 5Trashy. Has no place in a Christian marketplace.March 12, 2013CQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1The book begins with a murder scene that is very dark, beyond normal.
There is constast and intense disrespect for men that is not Godly or inspiring. Men are portrayed as weak and ignorant. The author does not encourage women in a difficult marriage to love their husbands, but to disrespect them. It glamorizes an attraction to a man that is not a woman's husband.
This book has no place in a Christian marketplace.

DeniseLangley, BCAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book holds humor and truths.May 9, 2012DeniseLangley, BCAge: 35-44Gender: femaleA fantastic book with a dry humor that kept me laughing nonstop. At the same time, this author hides truths that makes this book wonderfully down to earth revealing a God who accepts us flawed humans and loves us with our shortcomings.

The women are super heros, while the men are frequently depicted as weaklings, both spiritually and physically.
