Rob5 Stars Out Of 5May 26, 2008RobAny book that starts out dedicating itself to Jesus Christ can't be half bad. The stories and scripture references laid out in this very short book are powerful and have lead to a six month study for a group God placed on my heart after reading this book. This is one of those short little books that are so crammed with spiritual nuggets that it's impossible to put down after you get started. Plan on an afternoon of reading once you get started. Then, days going back in and studying the scriptures that Ernest laid out for us. By the way, today is Memorial Day and Ernest is a veteran. Thanks for your sacrifices Ernest, and a special thanks for this great little book.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am an ordained minister who was a wounded warrior several years ago. I needed this book myself! I was a former officer in the 5th Green Beret's 19th Special Forces from 1970 to 1978. I also hold black belts in two styles of martial arts, Cha Yun Do and Isshinryu. I owned two Christian Martial Arts Training Centers. My heart has been broken for those who have been hurt and dissillusioned and have either left the church or been made ineffective through their disappointments. Sometimes I weep when praying for those who are hurting. I feel Jesus is crying for them also. I am 56 years old and I am seeking for churches that will have us come to hold revival services, the Lord has really shown up at our meetings and many have been strengthened and ready to move on with the Lord to victory!
What was your motivation behind this project? I had come back home from preaching a revival service in Canada in late 1989 and I was sitting alone in my family room praying for two men who had fallen, Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker, I remembered the thousands who had come to know Jesus through their ministries, but then both of them had fallen into sin, and their ministries were seemingly over! I was weeping for those two men of God and the Lord unfolded a vision of a battlefield scene before me for over two hours. I began to share this battlefield vision in meetings and then this battlefield vision became chapter 5 in our Wounded Warriors book. My motivation is to restore those who are wounded, to take back what our enemy is trying to steal and destroy. With this book and God's help I know we can accompolish this. Please pray for us, and pray for our finances, we need the help.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My prayer is that Wounded Warriors will touch millions. I pray that this book will strengthen those who are weary and hurting, and put a fire under anyone who has become complacent.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? 1. My Wife, Christine 2. Rev. Billy Graham 3. Joyce Meyer 4. David Wilkerson (Author/Minister) 5. John Bevere (Author/Evangelist
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: As I have traveled and shared the vision in this book, Wounded Warriors, in our churches today, the Lord has touched many who were hurting, including pastors and church leaders. The Lord wants His people to start really loving and caring for one another. It's fine to ask the Lord to bless us, and He does, but He also wants us to care for and bless those who need help. Jesus wants all of us to realize how much He loves us,therefore, He wants us to love one another. I have two seperate locations within this book where the reader may stop and say a prayer. One prayer is for a Christian who is hurting and wounded, and another prayer towards the end of the book allows the reader to stop and ask the Lord Jesus into their heart. My prayer is that wounded warriors will get to as many readers as possible so that our wounded may be healed and ready to fight and win the victory !
