We have a weekly bible study in our home and we decided to do the lesson on "Walking in the Desert with God" because quite a few people were going through difficult times in their lives. We had 15 attending the lessons and we received all positive feedback on the lessons. We became the "Shade" for each other by partnering up with each other to pray and to be an encouragement. This DVD was such a blessing and I can't say enough about it because it was a huge lesson for all of us. We all had to chuckle when we saw what the "green pastures" actually looked like. Seeing things visually on the lessons from the bible sure helps to remember the things that God is teaching us.
That the World May Know, Vol #12: Walking in the Desert with GOD

In Israel they have a saying,"The Land is the fifth Gospel", they mean that the geography, flora and fauna, topography as well as history are part of the revelation of GOD's story. To see, hear, smell, and feel what the people the message originally addressed experienced is to know more fully what they had to interact with. David's green pastures are not green like we imagine, they are brown and scruffy to our description, but to a middle easterner, they have enough food for today, the sheep will not need to be herded from field to field for now, "green" doesn't always mean luxurious, sometimes it means sufficient. Ray, again, does a wonderful setting out of a feast of information, it is not only good for us, it is enjoyably good to us. Al from rural NE
