Tell us a little about yourself. I fell in love with history in college and have spent about forty years encouraging others to enjoy history or fall in love with it. I have served as a Christian school administrator, history teacher, and now an author of history. I love my subject and am thrilled to get paid to do what I love.
What was your motivation behind this project? The previous edition needed lots of work, so I started virtually from scratch and wrote this work to show history as linear, with a beginning at Creation and a narrative that goes through world history to the near future. I wanted the students who read this book to enjoy history and see the flow of it to logical conclusions.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Enthusiam for history and realization that God is very active in the affairs of men.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? It was a great challenge for me and forced me to do lots of research and read many books to prepare each chapter and be sure my work was based on solid history.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? former teachers including Edward Panosian and Stewart Custer
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I just finished revising our World History book and am excited about this new project.
