Nik1 Stars Out Of 5Things to considerApril 8, 2016NikQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 1I was very close to using this book with my child however, after closer inspection and reading the provided sample pages I have decided against this particular title. Although I have enjoyed using other materials from the critical thinking company, this history book is written from a secular, evolutionary point of view. As a Christian, I will not be teaching evolution as a fact. Also Catholicism is treated as mere Christianity and I beg to differ. I want my children to know the differences between the two faith groups, especially in history or should I say a historical context. If you are considering purchasing this book, please take the time to read the sample pages provided.
Q: Would this book correlate enough to Story of the World Vol.1 that my oldest son (6th gr) could work on this while my younger ones do SOTW?
No, this book would not be correlated to "Story of the World" materials.
