Great way to get your child to write! I have a 13 year old and she really is reluctant to do anything that takes more than just a few minutes, however with this book she is finding it fun to write.

My 6th grader loves this book. He's very creative but he doesn't like the process of writing. This workbook makes it fun!

Excellent Program
My son was a VERY reluctant writer, in fact I started homeschooling him because he was having such a hard time in his language arts class. We have been using this program a little over a month now and I was praising my son just yesterday because not only has his writing gotten better, but his ATTITUDE about writing has gotten better. He told me "that's because it's finally fun to write" now that he's using Wordsmith Apprentice. I highly recommend this curriculum!

Enjoy learning to write.
We have just done the first few assignments in the book, but my daughter is enjoying the cartoons and the idea of writing a newspaper. I think she will learn a lot about how to write using this book. There are some religious aspects to this book which I was not expecting but I am fine with. Those who aren't Christian might want to look at the book before buying.
