Ron Fruin1 Stars Out Of 5A Blank TimelineJanuary 12, 2016Ron FruinQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0It IS a BLANK timeline. You can probably print a blank timeline on your own and it would be MUCH cheaper. It is just a line with dates every 10 inches, not much more. There are a total of 10 pages out of the whole book that give lists of dates with a very brief (a partial line) description of what he thinks took place in that very approximate year. Even the dates are far off from what most Bible scholars agree upon. He starts his timeline at 9,000 B.C. (Most say 4,000 to maybe up to 6,000 B.C.) and gives the flood at 3,900 B.C. (Most say about 2,300 B.C.). I wanted to use it as a reference guide, but it doesn't say much and even what it says isn't trustworthy.
Katherine2 Stars Out Of 5September 28, 2010KatherineThe significant dates to consider that Terri Johnson puts forth starts with "5000 BC Farming Begins in the Fertile Crescent". Noticeably absent from these events is any mention of Adam & Eve and creation. Bible believing Christians, take note. If you do buy this book, start at "4004 BC God Created the World"!!
Tina Brown5 Stars Out Of 5August 12, 2008Tina BrownI like this book because the kids get to fill in the information on the time line themselves. They get to choose what's important (with guidance, of course) and include it on their timeline. I believe that the more the kids are involved, the more they will retain. The more they see, hear, and do, the better.
Tamie5 Stars Out Of 5July 24, 2008TamieMy 14- and 13-year-old daughters enjoyed tracking their progress through history this past year in this timeline book. This hardcover, decoratively printed blank paged timeline book provides a classy, concise, and organized way to track the people and dates that you have studied. There is plenty of room for drawings/stickers and writing. My third daughter can't wait to start her own this year. I can't wait to see the whole book completed. What a treasured book it will be!
Dana5 Stars Out Of 5July 15, 2008DanaBoth my kids love this timeline book. Until we started using it - they would bug me each day. I have an 11 & 8 year old both working in about the same timeframe and it's fun to see what each one sees as important features and events for each year.
