Located in: Indio CA Submitted: December 14, 2007 Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a speaker, writer, wife, mother and grandmother. I love to make the Bible come alive to my readers so that they will say, "I want to trust God more!" What was your motivation behind this project? There is so much to learn from the women who are featured in the Bible. They are just like us! I wanted to plumb their stories for applications for a modern woman's daily life. What do you hope folks will gain from this project? That God wants to be involved in every area of our lives. That He did it for the women in the Bible and He wants to do it in our lives. How were you personally impacted by working on this project? My own faith in God's care and power grew as I identified with the women of the Bible. If He's ever the same, He wants to be Lord over my life, no matter what I'm facing. Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My involvement in Bible Study Fellowship was such a foundation for seeing the importance of the Bible and seeing the significance in the details. Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I think the format of this book is really helpful because a lot of wonderful information and application is given in small segments. It also has question/answer areas useful for a small group. I intended to make the stories of the Bible come alive. Find Related Products |
