I would recommend this to any woman. The author is godly and presents the truths of Scripture to make her points. I believe it would be a real encouragement to the women who read it. It's constructive also. There was just one thing that I have a problem with and that was the diary Eve supposedly wrote at the beginning of chapters. I don't like imaginary things put in a Biblical characters mouth. I like the Bible quoted as is.
This has been a useful counseling tool I've shared with many friends. Women are inundated with the lies of the world's standards. it can be a painful process, but working through this book and accompanying study purges fears & wrong thinking and brings the freedom of walking in the truth.
I am finding this to be a very thought provoking book. It raises a lot of relevant points. I am currently in a study group of this book with my church group. We just began it, but it seems to hold a lot of wisdom so far.
We are using this material for a ladies Sunday School Class and it is awesome. The information contained in the book is true and revelent to the culture that we live in today. We as women are pulled in every direction and we need to have the TRUTH in front of us at all times. God's Word is Truth and this book points us in that direction.
We have used this book as a study in our church ladies group. It is very practical in daily walk with God. Biblically sound perspective allows me to relate to scripture lessons. I am planning to order her book, Lies Girls Believe.
