"A Woman's Influential Relationships, Book 3" - yielding your life to God; - contemplating 2 Timothy and the lives of biblical women; - investing your faith in others, challenging the world around you with godly living, and maintaining your confidence in God's faithfulness. Author BioArlene Allen, born in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, never fails to delight and challenge her audiences with her quick wit and Southern-style wisdom. An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, Arlene served as the director for the national Women’s Ministries Department. She has served on the boards of the national Women in Ministry Task Force, Religious Alliance Against Pornography, and Global Pastor’s Wives Network. She has an extensive speaking history that includes pulpit ministry, leadership training, and women’s and minister’s wives retreats. Arlene has been married for forty-six years to Gary R. Allen who served as the executive coordinator of the Ministerial Enrichment office of the Asemblies of God. The Allens are parents of two sons and the proud grandparents of two "incredible" grandsons, Grant and Jacob.
