Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Pastor's wife, mother, national speaker and author of several books who is living out my dream to write. If I can live out the dream God placed on my heart, you can, too. In this book I aim to show you how.
What was your motivation behind this project? As I speak across the country, I come across so many women who either have a dream and don't know how to reach it, or who don't know what their dream or specific purpose might be. Having led many "Discovering Your Dream" workshops, I began to see women come alive as they discovered what their dream was and gained new inspiration to reach it and live it out.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope readers will find their specific God-given purpose in life, by working through the chapters and application questions in this book. I also want them to gain new motivation to take the steps necessary to reach their dream.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I took great delight in recording the stories of women as they struggled and eventually found their dream. It also re-affirmed to me that the dream God placed on my heart was to write books that encourage the hearts of women.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My mentor authors are Elisabeth Elliot, Elisabeth George and Cynthia Heald. All have mentored me through their books, as well as personally encouraged me.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I believe God has been waiting for the day you would discover and live out the dream He has placed on your heart.
