Dr. E. Morris Sider, Professor Emeritus of History and English Literature at Messiah College, Grantham, Pennsylvania, grew up in Cheapside, Ontario, Canada. He taught in elementary schools in Ontario, later at Niagara Christian Collegiate, where he was also principal. From 1963 until his retirement in 2000, he was on the faculty of Messiah College; for twenty-one of those years he also served as archivist of Messiah College and the Brethren in Christ Church. He is editor of the journal, Brethren in Christ History and Life, Executive Director of the Brethren in Christ Historical Society, and ordained for ministry by the Brethren in Christ Church.

Dr. Terry L. Brensinger is the senior pastor of the Grantham Church (Brethren in Christ), a 500-member congregation adjacent to Messiah College in Grantham, PA. He was previously a professor of Old Testament and chair of the Biblical and Religious Studies Department at the college, where he continues to teach part-time.
