Good short explanations This book gives short explanations and applications of the chapters of each Bible book, in chronological order. I use it for Bible study and for daily meditation. There are references made to other texts to support the author's explanation of the text. I have searched for a daily Bible reading in chronological order with doctrinally sound applications, and this is the very best! September 6, 2012

This purchase was to replace one I already had been using for 15 years...it was in shreads! I have looked for it in Christian book stores, unsuccessfully, and was so happy to find the exact book on this website. The price was also great! March 4, 2010

We liked this easy-to-read and understand devotional commentary so much that we have given serveral of them as Christmas gifts. I use mine every day along with my Scripture reading - I don't know what I'd do without it! It's a real blessing! February 1, 2007
