How do Sarah, Rachel, and Hannah's stories relate to us? We all have times of pleading with others to do what we want them to do and pleading with God to do what we want him to do. This study looks at the lives of Sarah, Rachel, and Hannah. They all wanted God to give them a child and each of them took matters into their own hands when they tired of waiting for God to act. Each of the five sessions in this study is comprised of five study days. Each days study includes Scriptures and questions for you to read and answer, reflections, and other ways for you to apply the teachings. Study can be done alone, with a friend, or in a group. A Leader Guide is included in the back of the book along with several journaling pages.
At some time in life we all beg God to perform in a way we think is best. Even a woman of strong faith can experience a crisis of faith when life doesnt turn out as she expects and she knows God could intervene on her behalf. Sarah, Rachel, and Hannah thought God should provide a child and pleaded with Him to honor their hearts desire. In different ways, each woman took matters into her own hands when Gods timing didnt match her timetable. Face-to-Face with Sarah, Rachel, and Hannah explores various issues in womens lives that lead to pleading with God and ways they react when He doesnt immediately respond or they dont like His answer, as well as guiding women to learn to rest in Gods sovereignty and wait on His timing.
