BlondieIndianapolis, INAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great gift for hunters!February 2, 2012BlondieIndianapolis, INAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My boyfriend and I are avid deer hunters and when I saw this I knew it would be a great Christmas gift for him. Unfortunately, deer season was over by the time I gave it to him. He has gone through it with great excitement and it is the perfect size and durability to take hunting. We plan on reading it together next deer season when we find ourselves hunting from the same stand or blind.
lynneNorth CarolinaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5exceptional bookJanuary 10, 2012lynneNorth CarolinaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is just the right size, so I pack it in my pouch and take it deer hunting with me. While I'm sitting & waiting on the deer to come by, I read it. The stories are short, so I read one, look around, and if nothing's coming, I read another. This is one of my most favorite books, so I ordered one for a Pastor friend of mine who is also a deer hunter. It's a great book to help you be aware of God's awesome creation and beauty around us. I also ordered another of the series to read when I finish this one.

He was pleased to have it, so let's pray that it will minister to his heart in a mighty way..He is an avid deer hunter! Thanks, Steve!
Brian Brierley5 Stars Out Of 5July 16, 2010Brian BrierleyWhile I have already read through it at home, this will definitely be a book I will bring with me to my tree stand. The brief, quick-to-read, devotionals will not only help pass the time on a slow (hunting) day, but will enable me to periodically glance up from the book to see what's happening around me (e.g., deer activity). Steve Chapman's perspectives on life interwoven with hunting are exactly what I need to better appreciate my role in the woods.
