Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a 39-year-old mom of three (and wife of
one!) who lives in Southern France. We, along
with a team of folks, are planting a church. It
sounds glamorous, but it's really, really hard
work. We've been here two years now and the
church is starting to take shape. You can see

I love to run, create small scale art projects,
worship, and cook gourmet meals. I'm far too
busy and am learning the art of rest. I'm
passionate about writing, particularly about how
God can redeem even the most impossible
situations.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to show readers how God is capable of
intersecting a wounded life, how He uses people
to love us back to Himself and give us courage
to face our daily stress. I'm thankful I had the
chance to write the sequel to Watching the Tree
Limbs.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope the reader will walk away with a better
picture of God's redemption. I pray they see all
people through God-tinged glasses. And I hope
they'll have enjoyed a good, clean love story to
boot.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I love Leif Enger's Peace Like a River, Sue Monk
Kidd's The Secret Life of Bees, and Harper Lee's
To Kill a Mockingbird.
