Special book for little boys: "God's Wisdom for Little Boys"
God's Wisdom for Little Boys is an absolute treasure for grandparents and parents alike to read to their little boys. The ideas expressed in tender rhyme are all Biblical from Proverbs.

The book is beautifully designed and laid out, and the illustrations and paintings by Judy Luenebrink are fabulous. The authors, Jim and Elizabeth George, introduce little boys to character building through fun and rhyme. Example:

"Friendly"
God's little boy makes friends with others;
Those friends include his sisters and brothers.
True friends are always a gift from above;
Make it your goal to give brotherly love.

"A friend loves you all the time. A brother is always there to help you." Proverbs 17:17
I would highly recommend this book for anyone with a little boy on their heart that they wish to make a gift of God's wisdom in a beautifully enticing way.

This is a cute and informative book for children. I enjoyed reading it and really enjoyed the illustrations as well.

My children really liked this book. I would reccomend this book for ages 3-7. The artwork is lovely. The boy's face is never seen so my kids would pretend that it was them doing the activity. I also would place their names in the repeated "God's little boy(name) is...This book is a captivating way to speak the Word of God over your children.

This is a sweet little book for boys about character traits. On each 2 page spread, it starts off with "God's little boy is...", gives a character trait, a sweet 4 line poem using an example and then a Bible verse to back it up. My children (ages 2-6) really enjoyed this book! I wish it would've gone a little deeper with examples and explaining the traits & their importance but this is a good book to start off with in character building. What impressed me the most about this book was the GORGEOUS illustrations by Judy Luenebrink! She needs to be awarded the Caldecott Medal for her work on this book! You could spend a good 10 minutes per page just looking at the details in the pictures. You could also use the pictures to discuss the character traits further since they go along with what you read.
