Tell us a little about yourself.  Pastor to many, father to three, husband to one. Follower of Christ.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I'm tired of watching people die before their time and countless others not reaching their potential because of poor nutritional choices. We can do better.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  My hope is that people start thinking about what foods they are eating and where it comes from. As a result, they will be able to improve their health and love God with all their strength.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  The message of this book is applicable to every single person in the world. While I would not say it is as important as the Gospel, the message of winning the food fight is a spiritual one. We must honor God with our bodies.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Other than Jesus Christ and other Scriptural heroes, my wife is my source of inspiration when it comes to proper eating and nutrition. Piper's Hunger for God is my favorite book on the connection between our physical and spiritual appetites.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Get this book to your pastors! The church has to address the obesity epidemic in our country.
