Tell us a little about yourself. Os Hillman formerly owned and operated an ad agency for 12 years serving clients such American Express and Steinway Pianos. Today, he is founder and president of Marketplace Leaders, an organization whose purpose is to help men and women fulfill their calling in and through their work life. He is also president of the International Coalition of Workplace Ministries (ICWM), Aslan Group Publishing. Os is an internationally recognized speaker on the subject of faith and work and speaks to business groups and churches, and writes on various faith and work related subjects. He is a faculty member of the Wagner Leadership Institute on Workplace Ministry. Os writes a daily internet devotional entitled TGIF Today God Is First that is read daily by several hundred thousand people worldwide. He has authored ten books including The 9 to 5 Window: How Faith Can Transform the Workplace, The Faith & Work Movement: What Every Pastor and Church Leader Should Know; and TGIF Today God Is First. Os is married to Angie and Os has one college age daughter, Charis. Os and Angie live in Cumming, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.
What was your motivation behind this project? To help believers really understand that their work can be a ministry and calling.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Men and women will learn what it means to bring Christ into their work lives, where they often spend 60-70% of their time. This is a very application oriented book that will challenge you to go deeper with the Lord to be a transformer in your workplace, city or nation.
