Wildflower Bride in Dry Creek
Series just keeps getting better!
Soldier Tyler Stone newly released from Special Ops has mixed feelings about being back in Dry Creek. His family welcomes him happily but every family keeps its secrets.
Angelina Brighton has a hard time believing Tyler is still alive since beginning to plan a memorial in his honor. She has had quite a few suitors in high school and over the years but can an old flame still kindle a few sparks?
Romance, strong family ties, cowboys, tenderness and secrets offer readers a sweet story with some laugh aloud moments! Strong characters and interesting dialogue keep the story moving and alive. I was entertained by this inspiring and faith challenging read and would recommend the book to others. Thanks to the author who provided a complimentary copy to me for my review.

Another Great Dry Creek Story
Former soldier Tyler Stone drives to Dry Creek on a mission. He is to locate Angelina Brighton and bring her back home to marry her father's wealthy lawyer. He finds his high school friend in the town of his early childhood before he was sent away. He has many surprises in store beginning with the fact that Angelina is planning his memorial service. Tyler is suddenly facing his painful past and questioning Angelina's furture.
This is another emotion stirring book by the author of the Dry Creek series, Janet Tronstad. I was very pleased with the last few chapters of the book. A very touching ending.

Love or Money?
Angelina Brighton, an heiress to the Brighton Security inheritance, has run away to Dry Creek, Montana, to avoid marrying her fatherâÂÂs lawyer, Derrick Carlson. Mr. Brighton has been pressing for his daughter to marry him, even to the point of buying her wedding gown. We find her working in Dry Creek as a ranch cook, arranging for Tyler StoneâÂÂs funeral and loving it.
Tyler Stone, originally from Dry Creek, worked for Brighton Security as a security guard to protect Angelina while she was in high school. Upon her graduation, he signed up for a Special Ops tour in Afghanistan and was subsequently declared deceased. HeâÂÂs anything but, and heâÂÂs back in Dry Creek to return Angelina back to Boston for her wedding, as heâÂÂs once again working for Brighton Security.
His arrival connection with Angelina is filled with her speed and gusto, and sets the stage for a âÂÂless-than-a-funeralâ service that she wonâÂÂt cancel. The sobering end of the scenario is his familyâÂÂs past and the supposed rumors and family dysfunction. Would anyone be there for his âÂÂfuneralâÂÂ?
This is my first book by Janet, and I totally enjoyed the flirty romantic sparks that floated between Tyler and Angelina. Their history seemed to be on a collision course, however, when Tyler got to thinking of his past and her father. His brothersâ involvement was touching and real, but a bit much for Tyler. The family interest was one I found heart-warming, considering their childhood. The author did a wonderful job in portraying sibling love and their concern for their âÂÂbabyâ brother. (Yup, we had one of those in my family, regardless of age!) The love between mother and son is honest and palpable.
Surprises galore are in store for everyone, whether those in Dry Creek or Boston. The suspense keeps the book moving to the end, once the initial story unfolds. I did find the opening a little slow and the conversation coerced. But it could easily have been a little stunted as Angelina thought Tyler deadâÂÂa little awkward trying to converse with a dead man she once had a crush on! After that, I was pulled into the story. The humor made the story even that much more exciting. But there were a few bumps and bruises during the different scenarios!
IâÂÂm not usually a âÂÂromantic onlyâ type reader, but Janet definitely kept my attention! The characters arenâÂÂt as fleshed out as a longer novel, but the author delivered! A very sweet romance!
My thanks go to Janet for a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review. No monetary compensation was exchanged.

I always enjoy reading Janet Tronstad books about Dry Creek. It is like visiting with old friends. Wildflower Bride in Dry Creek is about Tyler Stone returning to Dry Creek to bring back his boss's daughter, Angelina. When Tyler first returns to Dry Creek he feels that no one cares about him or his family. By the end of the book he finally realizes that the community does care about him and his family. Angelina and Tyler realize that they love each other and get married by the end of the book. Angelina realizes that her father loves her also and reconnects with him by the end of the book.
