    A Young Lady
I really enjoyed this book. I love biographies. Jean Fritz is one of my most favorite authors, and Lafayette is one of my favorite historical figures. I love it when it informs us that Adrienne, his wife, was so "wildly in love with him that she felt faint when she simply looked at him". I think it is romantic. I nearly burst into tears when she perishes. In any case, Lafayette was an amazing man, and it is very likely that our victory was because of him. He was like a son to George Washington, and was a true hero.
