Second Chronicles 14:22 records a prayer King Asa of Judah lifted to God during a time of great trouble. In When God Says Yes, author Wayne Kirkbride explains what believers today can learn from this kings attitude and how praying the Prayer of King Asa will have a mighty impact on their lives. God desires for His people to come to Him in prayer and ask in order to receive; When God Says Yes lays out a simple plan for readers committed to deepening their prayer lives and strengthening their intercession.
Wayne Kirkbride was an army officer for twenty-two years with a wide range of small unit leadership positions in the infantry and Special Forces. He retired as a lieutenant colonel. He is currently an online teacher and has taught science and Junior ROTC at the high school level for sixteen years. He taught as a missionary for three years at the International Christian School in Uijongbu, Republic of Korea.
He obtained his bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy, a master of arts degree in international studies from Old Dominion University, and a master of arts degree in education management from the University of Phoenix.
He is widowed and has three grown children. He remains busy as a Gideon, Bible study leader, and as a mentor.
