valjean5 Stars Out Of 5When Life Takes What MattersAugust 17, 2015valjeanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I found this book to bring much comfort to me right after my mother passed away. I was a little familiar with Susan Lenzkes, having seen some of her poetry published in a favorite monthly devotional I subscribed to. However, I didn't know she had written this book about grieving and the loss of her own mother. The "Ties of Love" poem meant the most to me - giving me peace that even though my mother was now in Heaven, I could still love her - because love will never pass away. I have often shared this book with others who have lost a loved one.
Connie5 Stars Out Of 5The most helpful little book...March 25, 2015ConnieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My friend gave this to me after my husband passed. Susan Lenzkes put words to my feelings, and gave hope to my hopelessness. Many nights I read and re-read this devotional, finding peace and comfort through her words and the Truths of Scripture. I am ever grateful for this little devotional, and have shared it numerous times with new widows/widowers as well as with friends and loved ones who are seeking to understand.
