Nadine Hennesey grew up learning lessons of perseverance, courage, and godliness. She needed every one of these resources when she lost her young husband after only 11 months of marriage. Widowed and pregnant with their child, struggling to overcome the pain of her devastating loss, she renewed her trust in God. To honor the dreams she and her husband had shared and to follow God’s leading, Nadine, along with her daughter Lydia, blazed a trail of adventure and godliness, reaching out to other women and children marked by suffering and loss. Rebecca Baker teaches and directs in the theater program at Cedarville University. She is also a licensed speech and language pathologist, specializing in professional voice. Rebecca loves to connect with her community through theater and has acted in over a dozen shows. Her first film acting role was as Maria in Hudson Taylor. She helps lead the drama ministry at Southgate Baptist in Springfield, Ohio, and has been part of mission trips to the House of Laughter in Kosovo. Rebecca and her husband, Wes, have four children.
