I really enjoy his writing. This book is very helpful to see why or how I'm wired. Looking back over my childhood and seeing what events in my life has caused me to think and act the way I do. My "private logic" as Dr. Leman puts it. So now I'm really paying attention to my thoughts, actions and reactions to things that come up in my day to day life. Praying that God shows me what the truth is in the situation and not the lie that I've believe - that started way back when...
Highly recommend this book, but only if you're looking for positive change in your life and you're willing to face the past. You will be blessed.
M H of HemetHemet, CAAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Clear as a bellJune 26, 2012M H of HemetHemet, CAAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Dr. Leman's personality mixed with his education and life experience makes for an understandable explanation of a difficult to understand genre. The content is not full of psycho-babble but rather understandable, relevant and relateable examples of how we can better understand ourselves and others through our childhood memories.
Personally, I approached my 19, 13 and 11 year olds and asked them to tell me a memory from when they were really little and true to form, they each came up with something that related to their birth-order! It was amazing (and fun)
This was an enjoyable read i used on an e-reader. I would totally recommend it!
