While a touch dated (by references to at-time-of-writing Presiding Bishop), this very readable volume presents a balanced and amazingly full introduction to the Episcopal Church and its place within the worldwide Anglican Community - with measured (and accurate) nods to both the tensions and strengths of said membership.
