To unify your home school, always start with the Sixth Grade ideas and go more in depth. If your student already knows that information, then spend more time on the suggested topics and ideas in this supplement. Keep in mind that it is not so important what year a student studies specific material but it is important to know that they have covered everything they need to know in the 7-12th grade years and can understand and apply that knowledge.
Detailed information on the depth of study needed in each subject is listed in On Eagle's Wings, published by The Weaver Curriculum.

James M.5 Stars Out Of 5A real responseMay 1, 2015James M.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I couldn't believe the review that "mom of 6" has entered for this 7-12 Supplement for the Weaver curriculum so now I have to respond!
The Weaver curriculum 7-12 Supplement for all the 5 volumes give an excellent education for upper grades till completion of high school years. When applied as intended these supplements will produce well rounded, college ready students who will be thinkers and leaders amongst their peers. The supplements are built on self research, logical thinking, discussion, debate and their is way over much opportunities for lots of writing. Many moms have and are using these supplements, who incidentally teach in universities themselves, in place of other standard methods of homeschooling because they have found the somewhat spiral approach of this unit study makes a superior product. My own sons were raised on this curriculum and we have found that the education from this supplement is very broad, in comparison to other homeschoolers in college level. One mom I know raised her daughter purely on the Weaver curriculum and her daughter has gone on to be a brain surgeon and other parents are now begging her to teach their children with the same method. So, not to speak down of "mom of 6" but to say that obviously she took a peek into the folder and decided that she did not want the bother of using the resources that are recommended like the Great Books which include the sayings of the great men of old like Plato Aristotle etc. and went on to something she thought will be .......... whatever it was for her self. But as she has said she didn't think it was suitable for herself......but because something is not suitable for oneself does that mean it is a one star????? Is the one star for the bent cover? Is the one star because of the lay out? Is the one star because of the fact that resources beyond the pages are used as reference to provoke further thought???? So there is my review and my review is here in protest of "mom of 6".
mom of 62 Stars Out Of 5The weaver supplement 7-12October 2, 2014mom of 6Quality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2The supplement is ok, I will use it this year, however I definitely plan on doing a different curriculum for our upper grade level children. This isn't cutting it. I find I still have to "supplement" with outside curriculum to meet our educational goals. Just not a good fit for our family way too generic, seems like a lack of thought and planning unlike their lower grade levels, which are thoroughly thought out.
