As the Rev. H.B. London lay incapacitated in the emergency room, he heard the doctor say, "If we don't do something right away, we're gonna lose him." London spent the next two weeks clinging to life in the hospital's intensive care unit. With his wife and children standing by his bedside, he was reminded that his family - not his many responsibilities as a pastor - was more important to him than anything else. On this broadcast, London chats with his cousin, Dr. James Dobson, about some of the lessons he wants to share with his fellow ministers, lessons included in his brand new book, Pause, Recharge, Refresh: Devotions to Energize a Pastor's Day-to-Day Ministry. Listen in as London discusses the many challenges pastors face and explains how congregations can express thanks to their church leaders during Clergy Appreciation Month in October.
