christ first in allFLAge: 35-44Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5Surprisingly Vulgar! Threw in the Trash!June 6, 2013christ first in allFLAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1CBD, we beg you to remove this DVD from your inventory as soon as possible!!! I agree with other reviewers and am also disappointed in CBD for making this available for purchase through their site. It undermines many values we as Christian parents, teachers and leaders attempt to instill in our children and young adults. As other reviewers have mentioned, our family was also excited to sit down with this film initially, but by 30 minutes of watching....we were done. The language in this movie is VULGAR! Beyond shocked that this film would receive a rating and recommendation for children! I cannot even bring myself to list the obscenities in disguised form! It is truly more than the occasional "bad word" to overlook in order to get to a positive message in a film. And, no, it will not go "over their heads" as the language is blatant and repetitive. My children were even upset by the foul language used and my oldest two are teenagers! The only thing decent about this movie....is that it led to great family discussion of how easily we can allow the enemy to penetrate our lives and invite his evil into our homes from something that appears innocent when we let our guard down just the tiniest bit. (I didn't check Christian movie reviews ahead of time...regretful.) And that as Believers who claim a desire to put Christ first in all things, we need to be ever vigilant! We decided as a family that the movie was too terrible to even toss into our giveaway bin or try to get a refund for as we did not want others watching it, so we promptly threw it in the TRASH CAN! Then, said a prayer for the movie industry and other Believers to have discernment.
NCFamily1 Stars Out Of 5Disappointed in CBDOctober 3, 2012NCFamilyQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I am horrified that CBD is listing this on their site. This movie has language that is too strong for most Christians. The story line and acting is all great, but the language was way too strong for a kids movie and WAY too strong for CBD to sell to unsuspecting families and churches.

We were terribly disappointed when we sat down to watch as a family. At the beginning we attempted to overlook some crude interactions and language, but when they used the word a**hole, it was just too much. The movie went off and that portion of Family Night was over. Please be warned and do not buy this movie for wholesome family fun.

There is a doozy of a swear in it said by a child. Please don't expect it to be christian - it's not.
