Piper addresses an auditorium of young, college-age adults. Issueing a challenge that there is more to life than working, career, family, then retirement. I especially liked the chapter on living in a wartime environment. So much of our time and money is wasted on foolish, foolish things, but in Depression/WWII era people did not waste, they did without, and they were better off for it. I also was inspired that everybody either needs to be a goer or a sender in regard to missions. Not everyone is called to go into full-time missionary service, but if you're not called to go, then you'd better be a sender by supporting the goers! Very compelling work.

John Piper is such a solid teacher/preacher so the book and dvd combo is a great match. Loved it!
