Edie Milligan5 Stars Out Of 5September 3, 2009Edie MilliganGreat companion to Ortberg's DVD/video study on spiritual disciplines. Challenging questions and "assignments". Very helpful in growing in Christ.
New Life Christian Fellowship4 Stars Out Of 5July 3, 2009New Life Christian FellowshipIt was a very good and practical teaching. We are reviewing it now to do small groups for our church.
Steve Patzia3 Stars Out Of 5February 5, 2009Steve PatziaI'm currently teaching this as a class at our church (with the DVD curriculum) and I'd love to give this study 5 stars because it's incredibly important and helpful for spiritual transformation, but the problem is they try to cram everything into six weeks! I wish they would redo it so each week is focused on studying one discipline instead of two. It's tough to practice the discipline of "slowing down" when we're rushing to cover prayer too!
Dale Williams4 Stars Out Of 5July 15, 2005Dale WilliamsOrtberg will keep you laughing and crying as you learn how easy it is as an ordinary person to share your faith with everyone you meet, as well as, build discipline into your life to make you the person God intended you to be. A must read!
