I have been impressed with the presentation of Mystery of History since purchasing Volume 1 several years ago. It is balanced in information and insight being careful not to exclude any negatively perceived portions of our history.
The Mystery of History Vol. III supplement cd is a wonderful resource. It is nice to be able to print off the pages that I need at the time that I need them instead of having to awkwardly copy them out of a book. It is also nice to have the extra resource pages to print out. I bring this list to our public library to look up books and dvds to preview for my daughter.
I'm not sure what the other reviewers meant by "difficult to navigate", since the table of contents was clearly visible and legible. I was always able to print the page numbers I wanted with no problems. I highly recommend this CD-ROM for Mystery of History Volume 3. It is very practical and easy to use.
Difficult to navigate is right. I used the first 2 volumes of the Mystery of History and ordered the reproducables cd to go with them for convenience. I decided to get the cd version of the companion guide for that reason. It has been a nightmare trying to get things planned out from here. I am ordering the paperback version so I can see what to print (and not have to print off the activities, etc that would be in the book). Even with the paperback version, trying to find the right map, etc is not pleasant with the CD. I agree that the content is good, I think that they need a better option for those of us who like to be able to print from a disk, but don't want to print all the other pages of the book.
