I'm enjoying this book. It is easy to find information as it is well organized with many bold print captions throughout. Interesting pictures and informative charts included. Interestingly written. A good basic book on the history and development of the KJV.

I found this book to be both interesting and very informative. The author uses history, diagrams and even little stories to get the points across. He does not come across as recommending any particular Bible version, however, I see many times where he states how excellent a job the translators did and that the majority of manuscripts support the King James Version. I find this to be particularly powerful since it is not coming from someone recommending the King James Version in particular.

There has been mistakes, spelling changes and even a little mischief along the way. The He/She bible, The "Wicked" bible and a few others. Very interesting read for the bible student about our KJV.
