I appreciate very much these books since it is very important for a preacher to preach the whole word, the whole truth to his brothers and sisters. Preaching the whole truth includes knowing the context and the origin of the words used in the Holy Bible. In this point, the Vincent's New Testament Word Studies is very useful for my preaching.

I like this particular set a lot. I am a minister and I have to prepare diligently. This set allows you to have an understanding of complex texts without having to be an expert in Greek language. This has helped me tremendously as I have not had classes in Greek or verb parsing etc. It is concise, thoughtful and relevant. I would definitely recommend it to any one who studies seriously or to any minister for that matter. One other thing that drew me to this set is the PRICE! In today's economy to be able to obtain a work of this quality for the price that CB.com offers is amazing.

The Vincent Word study goes systematically through the New Testament, giving a verse by verse word study, often it takes a significant phrase and defines it. It gives an indepth understanding of the theological meaning of the words. This is different from the Wuest Word Studies, in that Wuest has one volume that is an expanded translation of the Greek, a volume of topic studies, and two volumes of word studies, but not from every book in the New Testament. The Vincent is on each book and verse, some verses are omitted because they do not have a signficant word study need, but most are included.

Vincent's Word Studies might seem outdated to some with a lot of more recent books that have come out that do the same thing. I think it would be a tragedy to let this man's work go by the wayside out of a desire to find something more updated. Word Studies would be a tremendous treasure for anyone's library to have to help in seeing a full definition of words and how they are used in the text. Is it exhaustive? No. The weaknesses are but little in this work. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a deeper understanding of God's word.

Great value for the price. As good as those costing three times as much or more.

The vol set is just the right size to fit on my book shelfs. Loaded with mountains of information. Use it for the first time on Past Saturday and in my opinion that alone was worth the cost of the set. I would highly reccomend this set to those new to Bible Stuy or those who are well seasoned to Bible Study on any level.

Enjoyed it but didn't give it a 5 because it is somewhat bulky. Scholarly and biblically founded on all levels

Another excellent set of books that opens up the richness of the Bible. You won't be disappointed. Very good quality.
