Vincent's Word Studies might seem outdated to some with a lot of more recent books that have come out that do the same thing. I think it would be a tragedy to let this man's work go by the wayside out of a desire to find something more updated. Word Studies would be a tremendous treasure for anyone's library to have to help in seeing a full definition of words and how they are used in the text. Is it exhaustive? No. The weaknesses are but little in this work. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a deeper understanding of God's word.

Great value for the price. As good as those costing three times as much or more.

The vol set is just the right size to fit on my book shelfs. Loaded with mountains of information. Use it for the first time on Past Saturday and in my opinion that alone was worth the cost of the set. I would highly reccomend this set to those new to Bible Stuy or those who are well seasoned to Bible Study on any level.

Enjoyed it but didn't give it a 5 because it is somewhat bulky. Scholarly and biblically founded on all levels

For $20, this gives you more than your monies worth! Vincent's Word Studies have proven helpful in solidifying my understanding of NT Greek word usage. I would not use it as my only resource, but it is a fantastic partner to other extrabiblical resources in helping to round and add to my understanding as a non-greek student. It was written in the 1880's, so it paired with a recent biblical dictionary and concordinance has proven really helpful for new students of the bible. Recommended, and worth the money.

THESE BOOKS ARE EXCELLENT REFERENCE. THE BINDING IS GREAT AND A REAL PLEASURE TO USE IN MY STUDIES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VINCENT'S NEW TESTAMENT WORD STUDIES TO THE PASTOR OR LAY STUDENT TO BETTER UNDERSTAND GOD'S WRITTEN WORD.
