Britt98Grand Prairie, TXAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Light and Enjoyable ReadJune 16, 2014Britt98Grand Prairie, TXAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This was a fairly predictable, yet enjoyable book. It kept my interest till the end and I was able to read it quickly. I enjoyed the romance between the two main characters and there were some fairly tense and dangerous situations that they experienced.
Luke and Emily's relationship was fun to watch develop. They were both rather strong personality types and had some clashing going on throughout a portion of the story. I will say that the ending felt a little abrupt to me, however, it was a satisfactory ending.
If you are a fan of western romances with some danger thrown in, this might be a book you would enjoy.

AmandaSturgis, MIAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Great read!September 29, 2011AmandaSturgis, MIAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love old west books. The Vigilante's Bride written by Yvonne Harris wrote just the book for me. The story of Emily McCarthy and Luke Sullivan kept my attention and left me wanting more. I loved the history the author included in the book about the Crow Nation and how the Native Americans were impacted by the west being settled. I found my self loving the Luke and Emily and hating the "bad guys". This is a great book! I will be looking for more books by this author. I received a review copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers.
