VeggieTales: Larry Boy and the Bad Apple: A Lesson in Fighting Temptation

No one is safe in the town of Bumblyburg as The Bad Apple shows up to take over the city. She's rotten to the core, but the townsfolk might not realize it until it's too late. Even our hero Larry Boy discovers he must overcome his weakness to stand strong against her luring control. Our friends find firsthand the dangers of temptation and the strength found in the accountability of others.

VeggieTales portrayal of how to overcome besetting obstacles, to a 3 or 4 year old which is the ages of my kids, has a victorious driving force my children could have ever used from their prospective. Lines from the tunes comes out to sound out appropriate responses in their everyday lives and songs fill the day that are undershameable testimonial. Thanks for selling a viable product in todays' world that competes for your childs' soul.

My girls love this story! It is a great help in explaining temptation to young kids. And the moral of the story (that we all need to work together to fight temptation) is a home run lesson!

My son loves Veggie Tales, and he REALLY likes Larry Boy & the Bad Apple. He really seems to understand what temptation is, how we can resist it, etc. as a family. I am 42, and I absolutely enjoy watching all his Veggie Tale DVDs with him!

There is something about Larry Boy that makes kids pay attention! He is funny and yet still a super hero. I know that he is learning good material and he has fun with it!

Grandson loves this. He got two DVDs; this one and Underdog and he keeps watching this one and wants another. The really cool thing is he still likes them.

This VeggieTale holds the interest of my grandson while presenting real-life interpretations of temptation "that we can't fight on our own." By including the temptations of each character in the story, one sees that all are affected-it's not just me.
