I am 21 years old and I have never read a book all the way threw and stayed interested. This is a book you will not be able to put down without wondering what come next, laurel wanted to go haome but she listened to what God wanted her to do and Adam wanted the traveling life as a young reporter and didn't want to give up the only life he knew come to find out Gods plans always turn out better then ours do but only if we are willing to listen. Bonnie you really have a way with words and i enjoyed your book I can't wait to read the other two to this series

Being from the Matanuska Valley I love these books! When I drive through the farm lands of the Valley I can really see the struggle of the earliest Homesteaders! With God's help they obviously prevailed!

You'll be hooked and won't want to put this book down until you've finished it.Laura made her plans. She would go to Alaska and help her parents get settled on that new frontier. Then she would return to the States to go to college, build a career, create her own place in the sun. But Laura's plans changed and so did she. And, of course, so did her life. This story is reminescent of many a young woman who maps out a wonderful future only to have a change of heart and find that God has something better, happier, and more exciting than anything she can imagine.
