For millennia, two groups of immortals have roamed the earth in a spiritual chess game for human souls. Now they enter the time of Final Vengeance.
On one side are the Collectors--unholy, undead entities who feed on misery and blood. In opposition are the Nistarim--saints raised from their tombs during the Nazarene's resurrection, who work to protect mankind.
Natira, a powerful Collector infused with Judas's blood, is on the verge of finding the last of the Nistarim. To destroy them all in one master stroke, he must find the Nazarene's Crown of Thorns which is believed to be buried near Jerusalem.
But the Nistarim have a potent weapon of their own, a boy who carries immortal blood. He has been hiding and waiting until now, when both sides collide in a battle of biblical proportions at Israel's historic Valley of Bones.
The Jerusalem's Undead Trilogy takes readers on a riveting journey, as imaginative fiction melds with biblical and archaeological history.
Eric Wilson is the New York Times best-selling writer of Fireproof novelization as well as Flywheel and Facing the Giants. He lives in Nashville with his wife and two daughters.

I've been waiting and waiting for this one. It's all coming down to one fierce battle in Valley of Bones, the third installment of Eric Wilson's Jerusalem's Dead trilogy. Gina is reunited with her long lost love and gets to meet another family member she hasn't seen in years. Natira and the Akeldama Collectors are working hard to destroy all the Nistarim, but Cal's secret weapon is something they didn't consider.
A Christian vampire trilogy. That's what best-selling author Eric Wilson created with his Jerusalem's Dead books. I found all three creative, clever, and fascinating. This third book tied up all the mystery created in books one and two. The final battle was awesome in my mind, though I'd love to see it on the big screen. If you like vampire stories, biblical history, archaeology, and suspense, you must check out this series. If you've already read books one and two? What are you waiting for? Pick up book three asap, because it's an awesome conclusion to the series.
Josh Olds5 Stars Out Of 5May 4, 2010Josh OldsAll epics must have their conclusion. At some point the story must come crashing to a close. And with Valley of Bones, we have the bittersweet conclusion to not just the Jerusalems Undead trilogy, but to all of Eric Wilsons storylines as a whole. Since the time of the Nazarene, two groups of immortals The Collectors and the Nistarim have waged a spiritual chess game for humanity. And now the board is set, the pieces are in place, and the race to start or stop Final Vengeance has begun.Rasputin, a Russian mystic infested by a legion of Collectors, had once prophesied that a Black King would usher in this Final Vengeance. Natira, leader of the Akeldama Cluster, is convinced that he is that Black King. He must only find an ancient artifact hidden by Rasputin in order for the games to begin. But the Nistarim have their own secret weapon. For the first time in history, the combined forces of the Collectors and Nistarim collide in one valley in a battle of Biblical proportions. And we are all witnesses to that encounter.Eric Wilson is the master of the meta-arc. Story and character arcs intersect and overlap to form a cohesive whole that finds itself all tied up with Valley of Bones epic conclusion. Those unfamiliar with Wilsons work outside of the Jerusalems Undead trilogy will not suffer from not having read his previous novels, but if they have it will open them to the true depths of the story he has created.More than any other author today, Wilson undergirds his writing with solid theological imagery, speaking in metaphor, symbol, and Story to convey the Truth the truth that Life comes only through the blood of Yeshua the Nazarene. His masterful grasp of theology is evident as he weaves in his theological concepts in a way that only increases the storys suspense and tension.Valley of Bones is the apex of that story. You cant read it and not come away changed. And thats precisely the point.

Tell us a little about yourself. I've been a long-time promoter of Christian fiction, writing hundreds of reviews and giving endorsements to numerous titles. This is my tenth novel.
What was your motivation behind this project? I hoped to bring together most of the characters and subplots from my previous original novels, giving closure to them in a climactic showdown.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My desire, as always, is to show the Nazarene Blood's power to destroy evil and also resurrect life in those who were long thought dead.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I was reminded again that we are called to share in Christ's sufferings, knowing that we are saved by grace and called to good works. We each have a part to play in His story.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I'm inspired most by those who fight the odds, never give up, and press on in the darkest of circumstances. That, to me, is the definition of faith.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Don't miss out on this conclusion to the Jerusalem's Undead Trilogy. You'll also find out about Sarge and Josee, Rasputin and the Tmu Tarakan, not to mention the Masonic treasures hinted at in my earlier books.
