very informative and word based, assist me in my ministry and my christian walk. i have referred this book to other members of my church. helps me idenify the enemy's snares and motives. i really enjoyed and i'll keep reading it over and over.

My husband is on his 3rd read of this book. Each time there is new revelation. The content is timeless.
Sadly, much of what we read is visualized in churches throughout our land where Jezebel is tolerated and rarely confronted and dealt with... The effects of her controlling witchcraft and religious spirit MUST be repented for and ousted. To that end it would be wonderful if Jackson would do a workbook to accompany this book.

great read. I wish more of us would begin the repenting process. How many times we have behaved as a Jezebel, but have had too much pride in our life to ever admit it and have the courage to repent of that spirit. It is time that we begin the repenting process over the spirit of Jezebel in the U.S.

There was some good insight and interesting testimonies, but I didn't really find what I was looking for. Although he seems to say that he knows this isn't strictly a "woman" issue, that isn't the impression I ended up with. Strong, unsubmissive woman with weak husbands is central to where he finds this spirit manifesting. However, I would have liked to have found more on controlling pastors, particularly where authority ends and control begins (turn to your neighbor and say...!!). His advice is to leave a church if you don't agree with the pastor's vision, but I found that weak advice. What do we look for and how do we weigh those decisions, especially if feeling dominated (and made to feel guilty and unsubmitted when saying "no"). New Christians may not know to leave. Or how can we see through a winsome looking, Jezebel-driven youth pastor who may very well end up with everyone's trust while abusing kids? It also would have been nice to see more on spouses (men and women), coworkers and bosses, family, kids, neighbors, coaches, teachers, stalkers, etc. He mentions that violence and murder are the height of this spirit's expression so aren't most abuse victims fearfully bound up and sometimes unable to get free of mature Jezebel-driven personalities? Whether, schools, government, media or politics, our society is reeling from the influence of Jezebel. But this spirit was defeated at the cross and with prayer & repentance we can surely take back our land. Mighty are our weapons to pull down strongholds!
So, any male pastor who needs to sharpen his discernment for uncovering the seemingly innocent women who end up dividing churches and participating in marriage-breakups, then this book is for you. The rest of us? I did actually find commonalities with my own situations since the traits of the spirit are basically always the same. But I've also ordered another book and hope to learn more.

This book is a masterpiece, and is frighteningly revealing of what can happen in the name of "An Anointing." It compels us all to take a closer look at ourselves first of all, to examine our motives.
Once again I am reminded that there is a very thin line between Holy Ghost inspired and demonically inspired revelation. It says "Watchman, be on guard. not only for yourself, but for the Church and Kingdom. The enemy is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Honestly I know God led me to read this book! Before, I had no real knowledge of the Jezebel spirit. But God knew I needed to know this information immediately! I was in the fight of my life. Praise God John Paul Jackson persisted through all the demonic opposition he faced to write this book over 15 years, because without it the deception of Satan for our lives could have taken us further down a dark, deceptive path of destruction. If you have committed your life to God & the calling He has for you to make a difference for His Kingdom, I urgently implore you to read John Paul Jackson's Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit. I have never encountered such a secretive, behind-the-scenes mastermind spirit as this one whose goal is to NEVER let you know she is the one in charge of all the pain in your marriage & ministry. This book is MORE than worthy of your time!

This is the best book I have ever read about the Jezebel spirit. It is concise/clear/to the point. He even lists the "symptoms" one would note. There is also a book by Garland and Beverly Bilbo that is good. They are New Orleans pastors. Get either Mr. Jackson's book or theirs or BOTH!
