ginger1 Stars Out Of 5Vaccination PropagandaMarch 6, 2015gingerQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I was completely turned off and didn't even read further once I realized this book advocated the misleading premise that vaccinating can lead to autism (the evidence just doesn't support this yet, while evidence does support the incredible benefits of vaccinating). If I had done my research more carefully, I never would have purchased this book. That theme just totally turned me off. How it developed past the very beginning, I can't say, as I felt like I was reading a propaganda piece right from the very beginning, and in literature, that is a BIG turn off to me. Kingsbury is a great author, otherwise, and I have enjoyed her other works.
Rose Selvar5 Stars Out Of 5Highly recommend reading this Karen Kingsbury BookJanuary 26, 2015Rose SelvarQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is an excellent book. I absolutely love all of the Karen Kingsbury books that I have read so far. Since this is fiction I know that not all that I have learned from reading this book is real; but the way Karen writes you find it hard to believe that it isn't real. Perhaps this book sheds light into the realm of autism. I highly recommend reading this one!!!! As always, when reading a book by K. Kingsbury, have a box of kleenex nearby. You will need it! 1/26/15
