Freeing, Encouraging and Empowering! I'm not alone! And I can have grace-filled responses in crazy circumstances! Lysa is honest, forthright, transparent and right on the money in this book. She has a unique ability to articulate the common bottom line that we all experience when faced with situations beyond our control. And she gives practical, real-world tools to handle our emotions. While the target audience of this book is women, I think anyone could benefit from the principles she outlines. June 3, 2013

If you ever feel stressed out, worried or overwhelmed--this book is for you. Lysa asks us to discover how we respond to overwhelming stress, helps us to forgive ourselves when we explode and encourages us to speak the truth in love next time. With great real-life stories, this book is easy to read, yet full of great ideas on how to keep focused on Christ in the midst of our busy stressful lives. April 3, 2013

Great book There are some really great verses to think about all day and to help us not to become "unglued." We will all still have tendencies to become unglued but that will help us to see the areas we need help in. There was a really good part near the end that gave me a whole new perspective on how to love the unlovable and/or the hard to love. March 29, 2013
