When Meg Cole's father dies unexpectedly, she's forced to return home to Texas and to Whispering Creek Ranch to take up the reins of his empire. The last thing she has the patience or the sanity to deal with? Her father's Thoroughbred racehorse farm. She gives its manager, Bo Porter, six months to close the place down.
Bo knows he ought to resent the woman who's determined to take from him the only job he ever wanted. But instead of anger, Meg evokes within him a profound desire to protect. The more time he spends with her, the more he longs to overcome every obstacle that separates them and earn her love.
Just when Meg realizes she can no longer deny the depth of her feelings for Bo, their fragile bond is broken by a force from Meg's past. Can their relationship--and their belief that God can work through every circumstance--survive?

CurledUpWithaBookThe MaritimesAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Undeniably YoursSeptember 21, 2015CurledUpWithaBookThe MaritimesAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I thoroughly enjoyed this story of romance as well as suspense. I like that the main characters looked to the Lord for guidance in all areas of life. This is a story of God's grace carried forward and undeserved forgiveness. Well done Becky Wade. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
KatyTennesseeGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful, contemporary romanceAugust 8, 2015KatyTennesseeGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love this book and hated to come to the end of Meg and Bos story. They are both appealing and likeable characters, who grabbed my heart from the very beginning. Meg is a perfect heroine, relying on God to see her through every minute of every difficult day. Bo is everything a hero should be, and everything that Meg needs. The biggest problems are that they come from two different worlds; she is the boss and he is the employee; and Meg is searching for meaning and purpose in her life, while Bo has seemingly found his lifes calling. Its a very intriguing situation and an exciting read to find out how everything comes together.
What I find most encouraging in this book is Megs total reliance on God, when she is at the end of her own strength. It reminds me so much of trauma in my own life and how God was, and still is, my lifeline. I think this is very therapeutic and might be helpful to many readers, who find themselves in unmanageable circumstances.
Although Undeniably Yours is primarily a wonderful romance, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter a measure of mystery and suspense lurking in the pages, which ramps up the tension quite a bit. The plot line of the entire story is enjoyable and includes interesting, additional subplots, creating a very satisfying read.
The well-developed main characters, are complemented with quirky and endearing secondary characters that round out the storyline and add depth and amusement. I particularly like Lynn, the housekeeper, and Megs nanny, eighty-year-old Sadie Jo.
If you like contemporary romance, dont miss Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade.
ShannahAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Undeniably Sweet Story!May 6, 2015ShannahAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is an undeniably sweet story. The story was incredibly written. I loved everything about it from the horse ranch to the big house to the office in Dallas. This book had me turning pages late into the night to finish and when it ended, I was happy and sad at the same time. I was happy because it ended on a happy note and sad because it was over.
I love, love, love the characters in this book. Becky Wade has a knack for taking fictional characters and making their lives, emotions, feelings, actions and reactions so real. I love that her characters spoke and acted like real people. They listened to country music, they said things they shouldn't, they acted so normal. Meg is such a sweetheart. I liked her gentleness but I also liked her gumption. She has to deal with real problems, like panic attacks, that many people shrug off as not serious. Bo Parker is a perfect gentleman and reminds me a lot of my husband. He is kind, good, sweet, but fiercely protective of those he loves.
The message of the story, once Bo and Meg grasped it, resonated deep in me. Even when you don't feel like He is, God is with you, leading you down the path He wants you to go. Our job, as Christians, is to wait on the Lord, trust in Him, and let Him lead us. It's so hard to do, especially when you can't see what's up ahead, but God knows.
Overall, I loved this story and look forward to reading more in the Porter Family series.
An Old Fashioned GirlMinnesotaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A sweet, down-to-earth romanceApril 25, 2015An Old Fashioned GirlMinnesotaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Undeniably Yours is a down-to-earth romance full of characters that anyone can relate to. Besides a good dose of humor, some major hurt, and a God-honoring couple, there's also an element of danger to spice things up.
I really like Meg. She's so . . . normal. She isn't brilliant at business, and she lacks confidence, but she is competent. She knows that she's a marshmallow--a big softie--but she isn't a pushover. Like just about every girl I know, she has body image issues but likes to feel pretty. She cries at the drop of a hat. She's not the perky heroine of an adventure novel--she's a normal, vulnerable, real human being.
I love how Meg is given a great burden--her family's money and responsibility--and turns it into something greater than just an oil empire. Meg discovers her passion and God provides a way for her to pursue it. Or is it that God provided for Meg over and abundantly, and she, like the wise man in the parable of the talents, finds a way to invest what He has blessed her with to further God's kingdom? In either case, it's a reminder that God gives us dreams and passions, and He delights to give us the means to pursue them.
Pegg ThomasOssineke, MIAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Heart-Pumping AttractionJanuary 12, 2015Pegg ThomasOssineke, MIAge: 45-54Gender: femaleContemporary romance is not my first genre to pick up, but when it involves thoroughbred horse racing? Oh, yeah! Love it! Unfortunately, there was virtually nothing in here about horse racing, other than people standing around looking at horses. Fortunately, it's a story with very compelling characters that sucked me into their story.
Meg Cole is a poor little rich girl, the type who could be a brash stereotypical cardboard character we've seen too often before. But she's not. She's vulnerable and sweet and desperately struggling to be strong after the death of her father.
Bo Porter is an ex-marine, a cowboy, and a simple guy from a small town in Texas. Now his future rests in the hands of his deceased oil tycoon boss's daughter.
She's all pink and frilly. He's all denim and straight lines. What on earth do they have in common? Nothing ... but a heart pumping attraction that will keep the reader turning the pages.
