I really enjoyed this book. It was a wonderful, passionate novel that transported you to another time and another place. I loved the cultural flares that made this story so intriguing. The reader gets to see the perspectives of French Christians as well as Islamic Algerians in 1994. Filled with war, romance, and, most importantly, faith, this novel will sweep you off your feet.
