In this 12-session small group Bible study, Twelve Women of the Bible, Lysa TerKuerst, Elisa Morgan, Jeanne Stevens and other leaders look at the spiritual lessons learned from twelve biblical women and what they mean for your life today.
Youll learn about the triumphs and failures of Mary Magdalene, Rebekah, Hannah, and nine other women, studying their lives and learning how to:
- Apply biblical lessons to their own modern-day struggles
- Live through their failures as well as successes
- Draw near to God in a world filled with trials
- Find lasting contentment
- Overcome rejection and insecurity and much more
Each of the 12 sessions focuses on one biblical character (Rebekah, Abigail, Hannah, Gomer, Leah, Mary Magdalene, Mary of Bethany, Martha, The Woman at the Well, Mary the mother of Jesus, and The Syrophoenecian Woman).
Youll discover lessons from each of these women that will help you persevere through the circumstances you are facing today.
This Participant Guide features discussion questions, background information on each character, space to write down thoughts, a helpful Leaders Guide, and much more (155 pages). Sue5 Stars Out Of 512 Women of the Bible DVD Curriculum KitSeptember 5, 2014SueWe are on week 6 now with our small group, Video sessions are great and not too long so can be completed in 1 - 1 1/2 hours depending on discussion. I very much like it because each session stands alone and is working great. I think we will also do it as a Sunday School Class

Beth SnyderLightstreet, PAAge: 45-54Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Good for Sunday SchoolAugust 21, 2013Beth SnyderLightstreet, PAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The study is very good, with excellent insights. But it is marketed as a Lysa TerKeurst study, when in fact she is one of many participants. I thought she would have written the study or I expected to see her on the screen every week. Still, it's worthwhile. I am using it for adult Sunday School, men and women.
GinaFort Worth, TXGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Good insight into women of the BibleJune 17, 2013GinaFort Worth, TXGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My summer Bible Study group has found this to be a wonderful series, prompting enlightening discussion about Biblical women and the issues they faced and how women today face such similar issues.
This series fit our needs, to fill the summer gap from BSF group. Our members can miss a meeting without feeling left out of the whole series. We don't have homework, except the individual study of each member as they want. The videos are great and are the "meat" of the weekly discussion group.
TammyAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great simple yet profound study!May 13, 2013TammyAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We have done many studies from Beth Moore to Priscilla Shirer, this one was so new and refreshing, simple yet the life stories told on each segment was very though provoking.
Shortened form our usual video's , we loved it and would recommend it to any women young and old, new and older to biblical studies.
