John MacAurthur is an extrodinary writer and expositor of the word. "Twelve Extraordinary Women" is just another informative, inspiring and wothy books by MacArthur. I highly recomend it as a worthy addition to any believers library. You will be blessed as you read it

John makes it so clear and causes you to keep reading more and more.It also helps those who think that they have to all ready be something in life or somebody. Gives them encouragement to begin now and let GOD us them. A very good book to read and to find yourself in the charaters of others and what GOD wants to do in us, for his glory.

This is an awesome book and study. I have done it with a small group and we learned so much about different aspects of the bibical lives of the women in both the old and new testament and about ourselves and what the Lord wants for us. It is an amazing journey to travel

MacArthur has a commanding knowledge of Scripture and the principles found in the Bible. Not only is this book not a cliche, it is probably the best treatment of biblical character study I have ever encountered. He has no ulterior motive. This book easily deserves 5 stars.

I'm using this book with the Bible Study group I've led for 7 years and all of the 17 people in the class have remarked at how much they've learned from it. We spent 3 sessions on Eve alone! It's thought-provoking, informational, and eye-opening in many ways. I'd suggest it to other groups who want to know more of the people they read about in the Bible. It's great to know that God does, indeed, use ordinary people. We've already studied "Twelve Ordinary Men" and experienced the same feelings with both books giving us a new look at ourselves

I have just recently finished the book and it was amazing! I highly recommend it to women of all ages. I went out and bought the workbook that goes along with it and have been working through that as well and it has been such a blessing! I will be using the book and workbook as I teach this summer!
