Everyone does it. What's the big deal?
Up until her senior year, Amber has been the model of perfection--just like her dad, Pastor Conrad, taught her to be. But when Clare Phillips invites her to more and more parties, Amber's little white lies spark a raging wildfire that threatens to overtake her life. Will she be honest with herself and her friends before things really get out of control?

Caelan Hughes5 Stars Out Of 5May 3, 2009Caelan HughesThis book has helped me to read more books. It is a great book for all teenagers. Burnt Orange is one of the best books i've ever read.
Lauren5 Stars Out Of 5August 7, 2007LaurenI felt a strong connection with Amber while reading this book. I felt as if I WAS Amber. I felt like I was lying to my parents, and drinking alcohol, and lying to my best friend. And when Amber barfed in some chapters, sometimes I felt like I needed to use the john as well. All in all, after I finished reading this book I felt a deeper connection with God. And I made a promise to Him that I will never take a single sip of alcohol, because now I really now how much it can hurt you.
Tes5 Stars Out Of 5April 21, 2007TesOut of all the color books, this one was the most amazing! It was interesting to see how vividly the author portrayed the struggles Amber went through. Towards the end of the novel, I actually started crying! This book is an eye opener and it's sad how common alcohol problems and accidents with teens are.
