Best Book of Missionary Tales
This series is the best series I have read on the topic of missionary tales. Dave and Neta Jackson have done an outstanding job of researching their topic. The stories feature lives of ordinary individuals who heard God's call on their lives and responded. You and your family will read about Gladys Aylward, William and Catherine Booth, David Livingstone and many others in this exciting series. We are using this series along with our unit study of "Galloping the Globe".

Inspiring book
The book is thought provoking and encouraging. Our family reads them together. Ages should be 6 and up. We gave a few away for Christmas to older people. Everyone of every age needs to be encouraged by others that have gone before us. We bought Vol. 2 for ourselves.

We picked up Hero Tales to use as our family devotion. It has been a wonderful discussion starter and history lesson all in one! It is so well-written and compelling that it keeps our 9 year old and 15 year old both interested. My husband and I are also enjoying the fascintating and little know stories involving the great Christian leaders of the past. We, as a family, are looking forward to the rest of the volumes in this series.
